The Screen Room Operator is responsible for ensuring screens are exposed and ready to go to press.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Screen Room Operator include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Determine mesh counts
• Coat screens
• Stretch screens
• Reclaim screens
• Review job tickets for all required information about job
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Follow all safety standards and policies

• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED. Experience in Screen Printing preferred.
• ATTENTION TO DETAILS
Ability to identify quality issues and comprehend and process details quickly.
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend job tickets and specifications. Good verbal communication skills to communicate with co-workers.
Willingness and interest to cross-train in other departments when needed.
• FAST-PACED WORK SKILLS
Ability to keep pace when jobs are moving fast and multiple tasks are presented simultaneously.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will stand the majority of his/her shift. The employee frequently is required to reach and lift with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly subjected to a warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The environment is not controlled and fluctuates based on external temperatures.
